Enveloped in sadness covered in sorrow
unable to see passed the tears
not understanding the why, what, or how
hoping that death hovers near
Living each day no different from the last
crying over memories and living in the past
Feeling lost and alone no future to see
Not understanding what possibly could be
Too miserable to think of the future
to depressed to consider today
not understanding what happened
wanting it all to just go away
Once part of a couple
each half made a whole
no reason to continue
life now is a big hole
