Suffolk County Health Commissioner Dr. James L. Tomarken visited Dr. Denise Walsh’s Leadership Innovations class on November 13, 2014. The class greatly appreciated Dr. Tomarken sharing his vast knowledge and expertise. We thank Dr. Walsh for providing such an invaluable experience.
Dr. Veronica Feeg and Nursing PhD students presented a panel discussion of the research residency experiential learning program at the Northeast Business and Economics Association Conference on November 7, 2014.
The conference attracted an international presence including attendees from The United Kingdom, Canada, and Nigeria.

Summer Institute for Systematic Reviews of Quantitative and Qualitative Evidence in Health Care
The Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis Course at Rutgers School of Nursing in July is a highly recommended program for anyone who might be interested in developing skills individually and/or becoming a certified Joanna Briggs Institute reviewer in their nursing careers.
These programs are of variable length and offer intensive, focused experiences that participants can select.
